Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the CalPod app and related web pages. By using CalPod you agree to them. Short version: use CalPod for yourself, be decent when you share, and understand it's a tracking tool — not a doctor.
Not medical advice
CalPod is a food-logging tool, not a medical device or a source of medical or dietary advice. Calorie and macro figures are estimates — AI-assisted photo recognition can be wrong, and portion estimates especially so. Plans are generic calculations, never individualized medical guidance, and never go below a minimum safe intake. Consult a qualified professional before making significant dietary changes, and do not use CalPod if you are under treatment for, or recovering from, an eating disorder except under professional guidance.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age of digital consent where you live). One account, for you personally.
Subscriptions
- CalPod Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or annual), billed through your Apple ID.
- Prices are shown before purchase; renewal charges apply until you cancel, at least 24 hours before the period ends, in iOS Settings → Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies.
Your content and sharing
- What you log stays private unless you explicitly share or publish it. Turning on number-sharing in a pod, or publishing a meal, makes the content you chose visible under the visibility you set.
- You keep ownership of your content. By publishing a meal or recap you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it within CalPod and its share pages, so the feature can work.
- Don't publish content that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive (e.g. deliberately wrong nutrition data), infringing, or that promotes disordered eating or self-harm. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this.
- Report and block tools are on every shared meal; we review every report.
Fair use
No scraping, reverse-engineering, reselling, or automated access; no attempts to identify other users from anonymous features; no interfering with the service's safety mechanisms (including safety floors and privacy boundaries).
Disclaimers & liability
CalPod is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy and fitness for a particular purpose, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
You can stop using CalPod and delete your data anytime (Profile → Your data). We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where practicable.
Changes, law & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware. Contact: support@stolenorbit.com.
